With just a few months to go before the end of the centenary celebrations honouring the 100th anniversary of women getting the right to vote, we are looking for 100 donations of £100. Of course if you want to donate more than £100 feel free to do so – every £1 edges us closer towards our target of £50,000
Anyone can donate including individuals, families, organisations, community groups, schools and businesses.
By donating £100 or more (and with your permission) your name will be listed on our website and our social media pages as a thank you
Without your support this project will not happen and Emily will not have the recognition she deserves in the town where she died fighting for women to have the right to vote. Something we take for granted today. Sarah Dewing Chair of the project says, “This is a great opportunity not only to help the EDMP reach its £50,000 target, but also for individuals, families, community groups, schools, other organisations and businesses around the world to show their support for what Emily stood for, Equal Rights for Women”
As the slogan for the Women’s Social and Political Union states “DEEDS NOT WORDS”
PLEASE NOTE: We have the full support of Epsom & Ewell Borough Council and Surrey County Council. In the unlikely event that we are unable to raise this amount and the project is unable to go ahead, we will donate the money raised equally to the Fawcett Society and Women’s Aid. However, we are confident that with your support this will not be necessary and any remaining funds, once the statue has been unveiled, will also be donated equally to both charities.
So who’s going to be first to donate 100 for 100? please click DONATE now and Thank You
Thank You
